The Plot:
As a Pizza delivery man, Peter has seen many irate customers when he delivers a pizza late. Most if the time, he endures curses, glares and threats of having him fired from his job. Peter simply shrugs these off, knowing that jobs are plentiful for low-level wage income earners like him.
But one day, when he was late again for a delivery, he was not scolded or threatened. Instead the beautiful girl on the other side of the door simply smiled and invited him inside. Once there, she called the manager of the pizza place and arranged for Peter to call her everyday for 20 to repeatedly apologize for his mistake.
The Hanger:
At first Peter was annoyed by his "punishment," however, as days went on, he found himself apologizing less, and just talking to the girl everyday. They fall in love. From there, you (the writer) can be creative and take it anywhere you want.
The Twist:
The girl has cancer.
